I know, I could have added to this while I was away, but hey, a girls gotta have a holiday.
I didn’t eat too badly, and there were only a couple of days where I had a margarita before lunch (I’m sure it was cocktail hour somewhere).
I saw a different show every night…..wowooowowowowo. My idea of heaven.

Ok, so this is a major reward I guess, and I haven’t even achieve much. One of my goals over the last few years was to see Celine Dion A New Day in the crazy city of Las Vegas. Well my shrink – bless her cotton socks, asked me what was stopping me and you know what? I was!!!! So here I am about to get on a plane, sans daughter, without much money, holding a very expensive Celine ticket…can’t wait…..I will try not to be toooooo indulgent with the food and booze while I am away.

Have you heard of Pandora Bracelets????Well, if you haven’t check it out. That’s my little incentive / bribe / make me feel better purchase.?It’s a bit of an addiction, you go to a shop and ask “any new Pandora”.?What’s my point? Well, I allowed myself to buy one today as a reward because I managed the BIG hill all the way to the top. Ok, so I felt like I was dying when I got there, but I made it. My recovery time is also getting faster which is great.?I felt like my feet were being crushed under me and that I was going to take one more step and they would just collapse. I mean lets face it – if you had over 120kg jumping up and down on you, you’d feel like collapsing!!! Once I got over the feet thing, I started to wish I was a puppet and I could just life my knees up with string. Lifting them with my arms would have been easy as they weren’t sore. My chest is still achy from the session on Monday. I said my chest hurt at work today, and people were excited – they thought I must have gotten lucky!!! No such luck folks, well, not with that meaning anyway.?I do feel lucky though. I’m on a journey and I’m sharing it, which is an exciting and daunting task.?I’m a mandarin. I’m going to peel away the layers of fat, pop out the seeds of self doubt and emotional baggage and be left with a healthy, attractive, well balanced me. Ok, so the metaphor kinda lost it by the end, but I hope you get my drift.
